Recoil offers crimp ferrules for professional installers. These are small, deformable metal tubes made of silver or tin-plated copper.
When crimped with ferrules, the wire bundle transforms into a solid-core wire. Ferrules significantly reduce contact resistance between the wire and the terminal and help limit the oxidation of the strands due to the lack of air space between them.
